Trace Elements

Copper Sulfate

Cu: 25.0%

A granulated copper fertiliser which can be mixed with other N-P-K-S fertilisers or blends of these products, for correcting and preventing deficiency in pastures, horticultural crops, grain and vines.

Sodium Molybdate

Mo: 39.3%

A powdered molybdate fertiliser which can be mixed with other N-P-K-S fertilisers or blends of these products, for correcting and preventing deficiency in pastures, field legumes, Brassica fodder crops and Brassica vegetables.

Zinc

Zn: 35.5%

A granulated zinc fertiliser which can be mixed with other N-P-K-S fertilisers or blends of these products, for correcting and preventing deficiency in horticultural crops, grain and vine. Where practical, e.g. in annual crops, it is best to apply zinc with any pre-spread fertiliser and incorporate into the soil, as surface applied zinc may not be properly utilised by crop roots.

Warnings

  • Do Not blend trace elements with urea, or blends containing urea.
  • Copper fertilisers should never be drilled with inoculated seed as it is harmful to the Rhizobium bacteria.
  • Trace elements can be toxic to humans and care should be taken when handling trace elements or fertilisers containing them. It is recommended that goggles, dust mask and gloves be worn when handling trace elements.
  • Trace elements should not be spread on their own unless specialized equipment is used.
  • Produce for animal or human consumption should not be stored in used trace element bags.
  • The application of some trace elements can suppress the availability of others.
  • For all trace element fertilisers (except Selcote� at standard rate) do not allow livestock to graze paddocks until adequate rain (5�10mm) or until 4 weeks after application.
  • All Impact trace element fertilisers are formulated at a standard rate. Where different spreading rates or non-standard rates are to be used these can be blended individually at your local depot.
